In the journey of religious life, Leadership is not a position to be held but a Mission to be received in Humility and faith. It is not an elevation but a deeper decent into the Service, following in the footsteps of Jesus who came not to be served but to serve.
June 15, 2025 was a red letter day in the Annals of the Province of Angamaly, of the Congregaton of the sisters of the cross of Chavanod, France, as the New Provincial team received the Mantle of Ledership as Pilgrims of Hope in the footsteps of the Cross. The Newly appointed Provincial Superior Sr. Rosily Thomas, along with her councillors Sr. Shally Sebastian, Sr. Jessy George, Sr. Rani Joseph, Sr. Kamala Joseph, Secretary Sr. Anie Stella Abraham and Bursar Sr. Asha Jose, took over the Animation of the Province from the outgoing Provincial Superior Sr. Elsy George and her team.
A Ship, Symbolizing leadership, and the journey of Faith was entrusted to Sr. Rosily Thomas by her predecessor. It carries the wisdom of the past voyages and the hope of unexplored horizons that lie ahead. As she takes the helm, this ship is anchored in Christ- our sure Foundation, our guiding compass, and the Captain of our souls. Though the waters may at times be deep and uncertain, we set sail with confidence, knowing that our anchor holds firm in His love and truth. May the new Provincial Team lead with a steady Vision, a heart anchored in faith, and the courage to navigate where ever Christ calls- trusting that He who leads the journey will never forsake the Mission.
