On 29th May 2021 ,the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod had the joy of receiving 24 newly professed sisters in four Inter Province Novitiates in India, namely Bhopal, Pune, Trichy and Varanasi.
It was the long – awaited day dawned for our 24 second year novices, among which two of them belonged to the Province of Angamaly, to commit themselves totally to the Lord. It was indeed a blessed day for Nancy Stephen and Ann Maria as they took a decision to say a courageous Yes to the will of God in their lives. During the Eucharistic celebratin, they said their total ‘Yes’ to the loving invitation of Jesus, “Come follow me” as they pledged themselves to follow Him in the path of Obedience, Poverty and Chastity.
We, the sisters of Angamaly province are grateful to God for the gift of Sr. Ann Maria and Sr. Nancy Stephen to our province. We are grateful to their family for their sacrifice in sending their loving daughters to the vineyard of God, to the formators and spiritual guides in IPN at Trichy and Bhopal who played a vital role in forming them and guiding them.
They had a warm and affectionate reception to the Province on 11th July 2021 by the Province animator Sr. Elsy George and the Provincial councilors which took place in the Community at Tellakom. We, the sisters of SCC, Angamaly province wish them God’s choicest blessings and abundant graces for a fruitful religious life and Mission.
