The heart of every sister of the Cross beat with gratitude and love when we think of our Foundress, Mother Claudine Echernier, greatest treasure given to all the sisters of the Cross. We celebrated the 152nd death Anniversary of Mother Claudine on 10th August 2021. Our Mother loved our Lord with an ardent and generous love. Her thoughts, her intentions, her words – all were animated by the Spirit of our Lord. Her Maxim and her Rule of conduct was “ to do the will of God in everything”. Faith was her driving power, her consolation and her hope. She possessed admirably the marvelous art of seeing God in everything and everywhere.
To mark the 152nd death anniversary of Mother Claudine , the sisters in all the communities had a simple celebration amidst the Covid- 19 pandemic along with the Lay –Associates. We celebrated the Holy Mass and conducted prayer services.
Dear Mother Claudine, be the light to enlighten our ways and lead us on to be joyful witness to Christ to whom we have personally encountered and experienced and to become dedicated instruments in His service. Be with your dear daughters all over the world to help, to guide, to comfort and to sustain that , in all changes and chances of life, whether light may shine or darkness fall , we may meet life with steady eyes and in wisdom, strength, purity and joy.
